Hello Friends of New Bedford!

Hello! This is Grace Bailey here on the Wind at My Back: New Bedford Chronicles blog. I am here to tell you what I had in mind for this.

The Blog's Purpose:

This blog was created by me so that the characters from Wind at My Back, New Bedfordites, could chat back and forth on various subjects, almost like a forum. It is also a chance for you fans to have a sneak peek at what your favorite characters are up to now.

Navigation:

You will notice on each side of the blog, there are to rows of "gadgets" these tools will help you to navigate the blog with ease or find out more about it. On this column, below this is a "follow by email" gadget. This will allow you to follow my blog by get emails when a new post is added. The categories section has all the categories on the site such "videos" contains all of the posts with videos in them. On the other side, there is "New Bedfordites On This Site". This is a list of all the New Bedfordites that have "joined" the site and can comment. The list is in alphabetical order by last name. There are also various polls on this site and you are very welcome to vote on them. You do not have to join to do so.

Posts:

The posts are done by different Wind at My Back characters. Anyone who is on the New Bedfordite list may post something. To find out which character did a post, simply scroll down to the bottom of the post. There you will find the signature of the character.

Comments:

Comments are the responses of New Bedfordites to different posts. This can sometimes prove comical and sometimes even lead to "battles of wit"! Only New Bedfordites are allowed to comment, but you are definitely welcome to read what they say!

There is one exception to the commenting rule...

You may comment on one post. The "Contact Post". You will be able to find this post in the categories section on this column of gadgets. This Post will be written with the idea of you being able to ask any New Bedfordite any question, from Grace Bailey to Lorna McFarlane! so go ahead and have a blast!

Just an update on your favorite characters.

Grace and Jim, after she came back from the war, got married. right now she is pregnant. Her due date in March 14, so stay tuned to see if she has a boy or a girl and what she names it!
