Dynamite Kid vs. Vanover Mainwaring?

I had a very short discussion recently with Max about this in the comments to "Jim and Grace's Romance" and thought I would make it a topic.

Why do Van and David Doyle look so much alike? It's a question that us New Bedfordites have pondered since were first saw the likeness. In case you don't remember what they look like, or you weren't here  at the time. here are some pictures...

    Good question, Hub! I have been pondering that myself since we chatted earlier! We know so little about Van/James. for all we know, they could be cousins!

    Um... In the wedding oath, there is a line, hmm... let me see. what is it again? Oh right! TILL DEATH DO US PART! I think that applies here. Anyway, it says right on your Username that you are a ghost, so technically that means that you are not "backkkkkkkkk!!!!!" but that you are still... dead.
